Setting up a Wallet

RenderOnNodes does not use emails or passwords. Instead, your account is entirely tied to a Solana Wallet.

Your wallet acts as your login credential and your bank account simultaneously. If you want to use the platform, you must install one. We highly recommend Phantom.

How to Install Phantom​

  1. Go to the official Phantom website and click Download to install the browser extension.
  2. Open the extension from your browser toolbar and click Create a new wallet.
  3. Create a simple password (this just unlocks the extension on your current computer).

CRITICAL: Your Secret Recovery Phrase​

During setup, Phantom will show you a 12-word Secret Recovery Phrase.

DO NOT LOSE THESE 12 WORDS

Write these 12 words down on physical paper.

  • If your computer breaks, these 12 words are the ONLY way to recover your money and your RenderOnNodes account.
  • NEVER give these 12 words to anyone, not even our support team. Anyone who has these 12 words can instantly steal all your money.

Connecting to RenderOnNodes​

Once you have written down your 12 words and finished setting up Phantom:

  1. Go to RenderOnNodes.com.
  2. Click Connect Wallet in the top right corner.
  3. Select Phantom.
  4. A popup will ask you to approve the connection. Click Connect.

You are now logged in. Your wallet address (a string of letters and numbers like 5J2kBz8...) is now your permanent account identity on the platform.
